Augusto Modular Monitors: BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA

What is the most crucial yet basic requirements in acute patient care? Be it in the Operation Room, the ICU / NICU / PICU / CCU, the Emergency or the Mobile Clinics / Ambulances, the basic need of acute patient care is to monitor the vital parameters of the patient such as the Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Oxygen Saturation, Respiration Rate, Body Temperature etc. in other terms a Patient Monitor has now become most primary and core component of healthcare setup.

India or even the world at large is booming with multiple brand, varieties, feature, design and qualities. So much is in offering that we often find ourselves in predicament on the brands, features and price segment. While the while the more established and global brands are rocketing towards innovation and designs with sky high prices; competing with each other in flagship, the larger and wider segment of the market remained unattended; left to choose among price-centric product with compromising qualities.

So, when we started the Augusto project, from the very beginning when the first draft of the machine was drawn and schematics we being developed, we only had one thing mind; to make a product which can fill n this gap of flagship and price-centric products, machine that can be upgradeable as per the requirement of the user at the same time being affordable, a product which is value for money, or perhaps even more.

Enter, Augusto STM-120

The first child of Augusto series of modular monitor with an intuitive UI giving users a fresh experience from the monotonous interfaces of price-centric monitors with simple operation flow and powerful system architecture. A monitor with preconfigured standard parameters such as ECG-HR, NIBP-PR, SpO2 – PR, Respiration and Temperature with easy upgrade features to Dual IBP and EtCO2 at user’s requirement. Augusto STM-120 is packed with Saitech’s breakthrough fast, accurate and motion tolerant Digital SpO2 technology, with Pulse Pitch Variation technology to detect finger trembling situation and excellent performance in low perfusion conditions; AC, EMG, Baseline, High & Low Pass filters for steady ECG and HR detection; Saitech’s oscillometric algorithm for precise Blood Pressure measurement, differential impedance measurement technology for Respiration with swap-in EtCO2 function to keep things simple and accurate. The monitor also provides networking capabilities, one click display format switch, different operation modes to best performance in specialty specific use and several other user friendly features. We wanted to reach out to the most of users and we wanted to make them feel at home while using the machine so while we kept English as the factory default language, in phase 1 we installed most of the major languages spoken in India such as Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam etc. and we plan to introduce major global languages in phase 2. And all of these without straying from our primary goal of filling in the performance gap between flagship and price-centric monitors, all of these you can afford.
